Another shared feature was the set of four warp nacelles, with nacelle pylons holding a pair above and below the main hulls, respectively. A saucer section attached to a compact secondary hull was common among these classes. The modern Sagan class echoed older Starfleet classes in its configuration, specifically the 23rd century Constellation- and Radiant-class cruisers.
